Adelphi Dance Alum Featured in Season Premiere of Fox’s “New Girl”

The millions of viewers who saw the stunning Bollywood dance performance in the season five premiere of Fox’s New Girl, which aired on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, saw Adelphi alumna, Amanda Simolari ’07, who was one of the featured dancers.

Simolari, who earned a B.F.A. in Dance with a minor in communications from Adelphi, is currently a dancer with the Blue13 Dance Company. According to the company’s website, she has danced for a number of prominent artists, including Beyoncé, Chris Martin and Rihanna.  Her credits include the “Run the World (Girls)” video, Carnival the Choreographer’s Ball, Billboard Music Awards, New Year’s Eve at the Bellagio, Princess of China video and the LMproject.
